The Samsung Exynos 1580 processor offers a powerful structure composed of Cortex-A720 and Cortex-A520 cores. It uses the Xclipse 540 as its graphics processor. In Geekbench 5 tests, the Exynos 1580 scored 1046 in single-core and 3678 in multi-core, proving to be a performance beast. These scores are head-to-head with Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100.
For example, the Snapdragon 888 scores 1088 in single-core and 3250 in multi-core, while the Exynos 2100 scores 1011 and 3355, respectively. This means the Exynos 1580 has a 17% increase in single-core performance and a 9% increase in multi-core performance compared to its predecessor, the Exynos 1480. So, what does this mean?
This means that when the new Galaxy A56 is released in the spring of 2025, it will offer users a faster and more efficient experience.
